Accounting Technician


The Accounting Technician will perform a variety of tasks to support the Finance department.

  • Enter invoices/data in an accounting software (SAP Business One);
  • Verification of accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents/records;
  • Provide outstanding Customer Service to our customers and partners;
  • Manage AP/AR accounts with clients and customers, respectively;
  • Fill out credit application requests for approval and assist with customer reference requests and manage payment terms;
  • Enter data related to Expense Reports
  • Assist in the collection of data and support the Team with Month End related tasks;
  • Assist with other tasks as needed related to this role


  • DEC in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Have two years experience in Accounting
  • Have excellent Customer Service skills
  • Attention to detail and very organized
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel
  • Knowledge of sales and purchasing business cycles
  • Strong working knowledge with information systems, experience with SAP an asset;
  • Ability to work with others and be able to liaise between different departments;
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, a must
