Avocado, Chocolate and Goji Berry Truffles

Slightly sweet and totally irresistible healthy truffles!


  • 2 cups PRANA organic chocolate chunks, 70% cacao, divided
  • 1/2 cup avocado
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tbsp rolled oats (not instant)
  • 1/3 cup PRANA organic goji berries
  • 1 tbsp PRANA organic coconut palm sugar


  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 1/2 cup of chocolate over medium heat in a double boiler.
  3. Using a food processor, purée the avocado and add the maple syrup and vanilla.
  4. Add the purée to the chocolate and mix using a spatula. Add the sea salt. Let cool then place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  5. In a food processor mix the goji berries, sugar, and rolled oats for a few seconds to obtain a grainy texture. Make sure not to over mix in order to keep some goji berry chunks. Set aside.
  6. Melt the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate in a double boiler. Set aside.
  7. Using a teaspoon, form 1" balls of the chocolate mixture. 
  8. Insert a fork to dip the balls in the melted chocolate.
  9. Sprinkle with the goji berry mixture.
  10. Place on the prepared baking sheet and let them set in the fridge for about 1 hour.

These truffles make a great gift or party favour. Store in the fridge.
