Almond Espresso Milk

Making your own almond milk is not only easy, but it yields creamier and fresher results than the store-bought versions. You can easily flavour this recipe to your taste. Enjoy with your breakfast or as a mid-morning snack!
Ingredients
- 1 cup PRANA organic raw European almonds
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup espresso
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
- Soak the almonds for 4 hours or overnight. Drain, discard the water and rinse the almonds.
- Blend the almonds and water in a high-speed blender for about 1 minute.
- Using a nut milk bag, filter the milk. Squeeze the bag to extract as much milk as you can.
- Prepare the espresso.
- Add the almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract to the espresso.
- Stores in the refrigerator in a Mason-type jar.
