Ingredients

Turmeric and ginger simple syrup

  • 1 cup PRANA organic fair trade cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh grated turmeric, grated (or 1/2 tsp organic fair trade ground turmeric), or more to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated, or more to taste
  • 2 cups water

Citrus lemonade

  • 1 cup citrus juice, freshly squeezed (lemon, lime, orange)
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tbsp turmeric-ginger simple syrup
  • 5 ice cubes

Preparation

Turmeric and ginger simple syrup

  1. Put all the ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer until the mix is a syrup, about 15 minutes. Stir regularly with a wooden spoon.
  2. Let cool and pour into a small bottle or Mason jar.

Citrus lemonade

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender.
  2. Will keep in the fridge for several days.
