Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 pitted PRANA organic Medjool dates, divided
  • 1 cup PRANA organic raw European almonds
  • 1 tbsp PRANA organic raw cacao powde
  • 1 tsp PRANA organic raw maca powder
  • 1 tbsp PRANA organic goji berries, for garnish
  • hemp seeds and the nuts of your choice, for garnish
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Preparation

  1. Soak the dates in hot water for a few minutes, until soft.
  2. In a blender, grind the almonds down to a flour-like texture. 
  3. Mix together half of the dates with the cacao powder. Add to the almond flour and mix well to form the tart crust.
  4. Press the tart crust into small moulds.
  5. For the caramel, mix the remaining dates with the maca powder, adding some of the soaking water from the dates as needed. 
  6. Divide the caramel among the moulds to top the crusts.
  7. Add a pinch of sea salt and decorate with goji berries, nuts or hemp seeds. 
  8. Refrigerate for a few minutes before serving.
