Maca Sweet Potato Fries

A new take on the classic french fry! This zesty seasoning will elevate the sweet potato taste to a whole new dimension. Serve with a homemade ketchup or veganaise!
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potato(es)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Maca Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut palm sugar
- sea salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Cut sweet potatoes into uniform strips (about ½ inch wide) and place on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, coconut palm sugar and maca.
- Brush the fries with coconut oil (liquified, by heating over low heat) and sprinkle the spice mixture all over.
- Bake at 450 ° F for 25 minutes or until the fries are golden brown. Allow a few extra minutes for crispier fries.
- Serve as is, or with homemade ketchup or veganaise!
