Zesty Hummus

Hummus is an excellent choice when it comes to snacking. Hummus is both tasty and nourishing. Chickpeas are high in protein and fiber, a good choice to help you feel satisfied. Try dipping your favourite vegetables, breads or dress up your sandwich using hummus as a spread.
Ingredients
- 1 can chick peas
- 1 -2 garlic cloves
- Juice of one lemon
- Zest of half lemon
- 1 handful fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp ground cumin seeds
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp tahini paste
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until the desired consistency is reached. Enjoy with pita or with raw vegetables!
