Wake Me Up Smoothie

Here's an energizing smoothie recipe to get you going! Citrus, carrots, ginger and turmeric will wake your senses in to time!
Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 1 apple
- 1 carrot
- 1 tbsp of fresh ginger
- 1 lemon
- 4 Brazil nuts
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp of fresh turmeric (optional)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water
Preparation
- Soak the Brazil nuts overnight in a small amount of water. Rinse.
- Peel the oranges and lemon and remove the seeds. Peel, then core and chop the apple. Peel and chop the carrot.
- Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender, adding water to your desired consistency.
