Tahini, Date and Cardamom Caramels

Try this sweet treat recipe for an afternoon pick-me-up, or dessert!
Ingredients
- 10 Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup tahini paste
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients except for the salt in a food processor. Mix until smooth.
- Line a rectangular bread mold with parchment paper or plastic wrap. Press the mixture evenly into the mold, then sprinkle with salt and sesame seeds. Place in the freezer for an hour.
- Remove the dough from the mould and cut into small, even squares. Keep refrigerated or in the freezer.
