Unsweetened Almond Milk
Almond milk without any added sugar, just pure nut pleasure! Perfect to add to recipes or simply as a nutritious and refreshing drink!
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 4 cups water
- Soak the almonds in water for at least 4 hours. Discard soaking water and rinse the nuts.
- Put them in the blender and add 4 cups of fresh water. Mix for about 1 minute.
- Filter through a nut milk bag and squeeze to extract as much milk as possible.
PRESERVATION: The milk can be stored in a Mason jar for up to 4 days in the refrigerator. You can use the nut of choice, whether it be almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts or Brazil nuts or a mix of multiple kinds of nuts.
