Sip your way to heavenly bliss with this warm, comforting and totally vegan pumpkin spiced latte! Enjoy it on a brisk fall day cozily wrapped up in your favourite sweater.
Ingredients
Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- ½ cup cane sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp cardamom
- 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
Pumpkin Spiced Latte
- 1 or 2 shots espresso (depending on how strong you want it)
- 2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup
- ½ cup hot almond milk
- Dollop vegan whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
- In a small pot, mix all ingredients together except the pumpkin puree. Bring to a slight boil and stir to help dissolve the sugar.
- Mix in the pumpkin puree using a whisk.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to an airtight container.
- Store for up to 3 weeks.
Pumpkin Spiced Latte
- Put the espresso and the Pumpkin Spice Syrup together in a mug and stir.
- Add the almond milk and whipped cream.
